Meet Our Staff

Dr. Niki Khandheria is a pediatrician at Upper Arlington Pediatrics who is passionate about helping children and families thrive. She earned her undergraduate degree in Global Health from Georgetown University before completing medical school at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She also earned a Master of Public Health from UTHealth Houston School of Public Health and completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Khandheria chose pediatrics because she loves the spirit, resilience, and energy that children bring to everyday life. She considers it a privilege to guide and support parents throughout their parenting journey while advocating for children’s health and well-being. One of her favorite parts of her work is getting to know each child’s unique personality, teaching children about their health, and building relationships with families. She also enjoys serving a diverse patient population and learning from the many different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives represented within the community.

Outside of work, Dr. Khandheria enjoys spending time outdoors, creating art, practicing yoga, reading, and exploring Columbus parks, events, and restaurants with her husband. Originally from India, she was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and later lived in Washington, D.C., Mexico, and Houston before moving to Columbus. She believes in a holistic approach to pediatric care that supports children’s physical, mental, and social-emotional well-being, and values open communication and partnership with families. Dr. Khandheria speaks English, Spanish, and Gujarati.
